It's always good to know information about something your working with. That being said, let's look at the history of the CSS and see where it all started. The CSS was first introduced in 1996 containing around 50 specifications for formatting. From there, the second updated of the CSS released in 1998 that contained over 70 formatting options. As of today we are still working with the 1998 update but the third update is being developed. One great thing; and what web designers absolutely love is that all browsers support the CSS.
